International development cooperation as a global governance policy

چکیده

The three major international texts adopted in 2015 -Addis Ababa Action Agenda on financing for development, 2030 Sustainable Development and Paris Climate Agreement- place national public policies actors at the heart of development cooperation (IDC). By bringing IDC closer to institutions, particularly banks, taking it further away from traditional foreign policy, this shift has challenged long-held narratives structures, both among developed developing countries. It also laid foundations a degree structured universal accountability within system, setting stage wider global governance.
